        It was a sudden plan to visit the Nandi Betta. Niru called me and asked whether i can join them, and for that, my sudden reply was YES !!!!. He told me that we need to leave by 4am.I told sure, no problem. We were ready by 4am and left at 4.15   We covered approximately 60 km journey in 50 to 60 mins and reached the first gate of Nandi betta at around 5.30 AM.          There is a check post to enter the Nandi hills and at that day it opened at 6AM. After after waiting for half an hour and registering the vehicle no, wheels were running towards the peak of hill. The way to the peak of hill is awesome. Road was full of mist and its hardly visible the next 10 mts path.         We the group of 5-6 people are planing to visit valley of flower in August 2011. We have a rough outline of trip. Just we have travel plan of now. Not yet planned about the lodging and guide. If anybody had been to Valley of flowers please guide us. And is it good to go through any trip organizer ? Harsha,pallavi and sowmya were busy in Photo session and others were having fun in water. You will find the pearl like water droplets on the top of coffee plants… one should experience such climate… I visit to dharmastala every year in the time of August/September. This year we [ my friends and I ] planned to cover some surrounding places along with dharmastala We planned to visit Kukke, Dharmastala, Chikkamagaluru, beluru, halebidu,Mullayanagiri,Bababudanagiri and manikyadhara. It is also known as Skandhagiri. This place is situated around 75 KM from Bangalore. This place is well known for the Sun rise point and night trek. It is around 10km from Chikkaballapura. On the day of Ram Navami 3rd march 2009 we (group of seven members) left Bangalore around 11.30Pm (Hebbala fly over) . We watched Ramayana Play on the way to Kalavarahalli (The place was Avati). We reached Kalavarahalli at 1.30am. Ramayana Play.. We need to pass through the Chikkaballapura town to Kalavarahalli (As shown in image below) We were equipped with torches and carried some snacks and water. The starting point of trek is Papagni math. There are two routes to reach the top. First one is the easy path which could take around 2 to 3 hours to reach peak and the second one is the most difficult path you should go with guide in this route. At the time of our Madikeri trip, we planed our next trip to Dhandeli on 24th and 25th Jan 2009. But due to some reason we shifted our plan from Dhandeli to Wynadu. This place is in Kerala. We all heard that Kerala is the Gods own country. We felt it when we entered the Kerala through Bandipura forest. We reached the state border check post around 6am. It was full misty environment. We paid 1800/- interstate road tax and persuade our journey towards Sulthan Bathery. Sun covered with mist..... We had already booked a home stay at Menamutti. We finished our breakfast at Sulthan Bathery. Home stay owner Mathew said he will pick us from Sulthan Bathery. We reached home stay around 9.30am. After drinking a full glass of Tea (which was not good.
