       ಬಿಡು ಮಗಾ ಅವಳು ನಿನಗೆ message ಮಾಡಲ್ಲ ಅಂತಾ ಕುಮಾರ ಹರಿ ಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ 2nd period ನಡಿಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂತಾ ನಮ್ಮ so called ಸೋಮಾರಿ ಕಟ್ಟೆ ಹತ್ರ ಕೂತು ಹರಟೆ ಹೊಡಿತಿದ್ವಿ. ಆದ್ರೆ ಹರಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಬೇಜಾರಾಗಿದ್ದ. ಕುಮಾರ ಅವಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣ ಮೌನ.                                                                        *****        ಆಗಷ್ಟೇ mobile ಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಶುರು ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆರಳೆಣಿಕೆ ಅಸ್ಟು ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಇತ್ತು.ಅವತ್ತು ಹರಿ full excite ಆಗಿ ಮಗಾ spice call rate 10 ಪೈಸೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ನಿಮಿಷಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ನೂರು message free ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂತಾ ಕುಮಾರನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳ್ತಿದ್ದಾ. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೌದೇನೋ ?? ಅಂತಾ ಪಿಳಿ ಪಿಳಿ ಕಣ್ಣು ಬಿಟ್ಟಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಹೊಸ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ನೋಡ್ತಿದ್ವಿ. ಹರಿ,ಪ್ರಕಾಶ,ನಂದನ,ಕುಮಾರ,ಮತ್ತೆ ಮುನ್ನ ತುಂಬಾ close friends.  ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳ ನಂತರ ಹರಿ ಗೆ ಒಂದು unknown number ಇಂದ ಮೆಸೇಜ್ ಬಂತು. ಅದು ಏನಪ್ಪಾ ಅಂದ್ರೆ- "hi dear i just reached hubli" ಅಂತಾ ಇತ್ತು. ಹರಿ ಯಾವುದೋ unknown number ಇಂದ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು ಅಂತಾ ತಲೆ ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದೇ ದಿನ ಸಂಜೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಅದೇ ನಂಬರ್ ನಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಮೆಸೇಜ್ - unkonwn no: "hello why no reply for my morning

        It was a sudden plan to visit the Nandi Betta. Niru called me and asked whether i can join them, and for that, my sudden reply was YES !!!!. He told me that we need to leave by 4am.I told sure, no problem. We were ready by 4am and left at 4.15   We covered approximately 60 km journey in 50 to 60 mins and reached the first gate of Nandi betta at around 5.30 AM.          There is a check post to enter the Nandi hills and at that day it opened at 6AM. After after waiting for half an hour and registering the vehicle no, wheels were running towards the peak of hill. The way to the peak of hill is awesome. Road was full of mist and its hardly visible the next 10 mts path. There are around 40+ curves we passed through and reached the top....        We parked bikes and waited for ticket counter to open [we need to take the tickets to enter the Hill]. At 6.30am counter was opened.     We spent almost three hours and left Betta by 9.30am. Date of Trip: 27th August 2011 KM: 6

        We the group of 5-6 people are planing to visit valley of flower in August 2011. We have a rough outline of trip. Just we have travel plan of now. Not yet planned about the lodging and guide. Day 4 Joshimath to Govind ghat , then trek to Gangria Halt at Gangria Day 5 Gangria to Valley of Flowers trek Back to Gangria and halt Day 6 Gangria to Hemkund and back to Gangria halt at Gangria Day7 Gangria to Govind ghat then to Joshimath halt at Joshimath Day 8 Joshimath to Rishikesh halt at Rishikesh Day 9 Rishikesh to Delhi Please suggest if any other plac

photo courtesy: Internet             2008 ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್, ನಾನು ಕೆಲ್ಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಆಗಿತ್ತು .  ನಾನು ಅವಳನ್ನ ಮೊದಲಸಲ ನೋಡಿದ್ದು internet ನಲ್ಲಿ ... ನನಗೆ ಯಾಕೋ ಏನೋ ತುಂಬಾ ಹಿಡ್ಸಿದ್ಲು. ಅವಳ ಆ ಮುದ್ದು ಮುಖ, ತಿಕ್ಷ್ಣ ಕಣ್ಣು, ಆ ನಾಜುಕತೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಏನೇನೊ...ಆಮೇಲೆ ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಯೋಚಿಸಿದೆ . ಇದೆಲ್ಲ ಈಗ ಬೇಕಾ? ಇನ್ನೂ ಈಗ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಆಯ್ತು ಕೆಲ್ಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿ. ಒಂದು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆಲೇನು ಕಂಡಕೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲಾ, ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಳಸಿದ್ದಾದ್ರು ಎಷ್ಟು ?.         ನನ್ನ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೂಂ ಮೇಟ್ಸ್ ಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಷಯ ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಸಹಜವಾಗಿಯೇ ಖುಷಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ರು 'You carry on buddy'  ಅಂತಾ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಬೇರೆ ಸಿಕ್ತು. ಏನೋ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವಳನ್ನ ಪಡದದ್ದು ಆಯ್ತು...         ದೀಪಾವಳಿಗೆ ಅವಳನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ  ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದೆ. ಅನ್ನುಕೊಂಡಹಾಗೆ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮ್ಮ ಬೇಜಾರದ್ರೆ, ಅಪ್ಪ, ಈಗ ಇದೆಲ್ಲ ಬೇಕಿತ್ತಾ ನಿನಗೆ ಅಂತಾ ಬೈದ್ರು?? .. ಆದ್ರೆ ನನ್ನ ತಂಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾತ್ರ ಫುಲ್ ಖುಶ್...!!!!. ಅದು ಇದು ಅಂತಾ ಏನೇನೊ ಹೇಳಿ ಅಪ್ಪ ಅಮ್ಮನ್ನ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಪಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಆಮೇಲೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ normal ..         ನಾನು ಯಾವದೇ ಟ್ರಿಪ್ ಗೆ ಹೋಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಯಾವುದೇ ಊರಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಗಾತಿ ಆದಳು ಅವಳು. ನಾವು ಮೊದಲ ಟ್ರಿಪ್ ಅಂತಾ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದು ಮಡಿಕೇರಿಗೆ.ಆ ಆಹ್ಲಾದಕರ ವಾತಾವರಣ, ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ

                                                                 ಲೇಖಕರು ಅನಂತನಾಗ .  [Nanna tamma Shankar]        ಶಂಕರನಾಗ ಕನ್ನಡನಾಡು ಕಂಡ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಪ್ರತೀಮ ಪ್ರತೀಭೆ.        ಶಂಕರನಾಗ್ ಎಂದಾಗ ತಟ್ಟ ಅಂತಾ ನೆನಪಾಗೋದು 'ಮಾಲ್ಗುಡಿ ಡೇಸ್'.ಕನ್ನಡದ ಅನೇಕ ಕಲಾವಿದರನ್ನು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಪರದೆಯಮೇಲೆ ತಂದ ಖ್ಯಾತಿ ಶಂಕರನಾಗ್ ಅವರದು. ಬರೀ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗಕ್ಕಷ್ಟೇ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಿರದೆ, ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಉಪಯೋಗವಾಗುಹಂತಹ ಅನೇಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ.ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವು ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ಇದರಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ . ನನಗೂ ಇ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಓದುವವರೆಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ.            ೧೯೮೦ರ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲೇನೆ metro ರೈಲಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವರ ಕನಸು, ಕಡಿಮೆ ಖರ್ಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ .. ಹೀಗೆ ಹತ್ತು ಹಲವು ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ. ಈಗ ಅವರು ಇದ್ದಿದ್ರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯೇ ಬೇರೆಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ...!!!!           ಶಂಕರನಾಗ ಬದುಕಿದ್ದು ಅಲ್ಪಾವದಿಗೆ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು ಅವರ ಸಾಧನೆ, ಅವರ ಹೆಸರು ಅಜರಾಮರ. ಇಷ್ಟು ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಅವರು ಪಟ್ಟ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ ಅಷ್ಟಿಷ್ಟಲ್ಲ. ಇಗಲೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ .          ಅವರ ಜೀವನ ಶೈಲಿ, ಅವರು ಬದುಕಿದ ರೀತಿ, ಅವರ ಯೋಚನಾಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿರುವ ಅನಂತನಾಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು .. ಶಂಕರನಾಗ ಅ

                     ಹುಟ್ಟು ಸಾವು  ಒಂದೇ ನಾಣ್ಯದ ಎರಡು ಮುಖಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ . ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಪ್ರತೀ ಜೀವಿಯೂ ಸಾಯಲೇಬೇಕು. ಅದು ಪಕೃತಿ ನಿಯಮ. ಒಂದು ಹುಟ್ಟು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ, ಸಂತೋಷ , ಒಂದು ಹೊಸ ಬದುಕಿನ ಆಸೆ ಮೂಡಿಸಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರ ತದ್ವೀರುದ್ದದ ಅಥವಾ ಇದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ತುಸು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನದೇ ಆದ ಒಂದು ಶೋಕ,ದುಖ: ಒಂದು ಜೀವ ತೀರಿದಾಗ!!!             ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಸಿರಿವಂತನಾದರು ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸೇರುವದು ಮಣ್ಣನ್ನೇ ಅನ್ನೋ ನುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೇಳಿರುತ್ತಿವಿ.ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರೆದೇ ಆದ ಕೆಲವು ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ರೀಯಗೆ ಇದ್ದೆ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ. ಕೆಲವೊಂದನ್ನು  ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರೆಂದು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿದರೆ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅವಶ್ಯಕವಾಗಿರುವಂತಹವು.           ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿಂದೂ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ವಿಧದ ಅಂತ್ಯಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಗಳು ರೂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿವೆ. ಒಂದು "ಅಗ್ನಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶ" ಇನ್ನೊಂದು "ಮಣ್ಣು ಮಾಡುವದು". ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ನಂತರ ಸ್ನಾನ,ವಿವಿಧ ಪೂಜೆಗಳು, ಹೀಗೆ ನಾನಾ ತರಹದ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳು ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.          ಇ ಮೇಲಿನ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನನಗನಸಿದ ಕೆಲವು ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಲು ಇಷ್ಟಪಡುತ್ತೇನೆ -          ಸ್ನಾನ:  ಸ್ಮಶಾನದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಜನ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡದೆ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಲ್ಲ.ಸ್ಮಶಾನದ ಪರಿಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಿರಬಹುದಾದ ಕ್ರಿಮೀ ಕೀಟಗಳು, ಸ್ಮೊಕ್ಷ್ಮಾನು ಜಂತುಗಳು 

 author:Brigadier John P Dalvi Himalayan Blunder was an extremely controversial war memoir penned by  Brigadier John P Dalvi, who was the commander of the Indian 7th Brigade which was destroyed in the 1962 India China war. Writer was captured by PLA [People's Liberation Army of china] on 22 oct 1962. We faced defeat against China. Brigadier Dalvi gives a first-person account of the war. In book writer shows us the situation of our army, what difficulties they have faced during the war. How our soldiers resisted the china army in cold weather of Himalaya without having even good pair shoes, with limited no of bullets and grenades. He explains the condition of the Indian army politics involved in it. How our brave soldiers spent days without having proper food...list goes on .. If we read the book your eyes will be wet..!!  The book is translated to Kannada by Ravi Belagere with the same title. Read the book to get the complete view of 1962 war.

 ಲೇಖಕರು:  ಡಾ||ಕೆ.ಶಿವರಾಂ ಕಾರಂತ. ಮೂಕಜ್ಜಿಯ ಕನಸುಗಳು, ಡಾ||ಕೆ.ಶಿವರಾಂ ಕಾರಂತ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನಪೀಠ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ತಂದುಕೊಟ್ಟಂತ ಕೃತಿ. ಇ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಪಾತ್ರ ಮೂಕಜ್ಜಿ [ಪೂರ್ಣ ಹೆಸರು ಮೂಕಾಂಬಿಕೆ ] ಚಿಕ್ಕ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಪ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಧವೆ ಪಟ್ಟ ಪಡೆದ ನಂತರ ತನ್ನ ತವರು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಇದು ಮೂಕಜ್ಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಣಿ ನಡುವೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ. ಮೂಕಜ್ಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಣಿ, ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯ,ಆಚಾರ,ವಿಚಾರಗಳು, ಮಾನವ ಕುಲದ ವಿಕಾಸ ಹೀಗೆ ಹತ್ತು ಹಲವು ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸುವಾಗ ಓದುಗನು ಇ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಯೋಚಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಲೇಖಕರು. ಕೆಲವು ಮೌಡ್ಯಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಳಕುಚೆಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಒಮ್ಮೆ ನಾಣಿ ಜೊತೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸುವಾಗ ಮೂಕಜ್ಜಿ 'ಕೊಲ್ಲೂರು' ಏಕೆ ಆ ಹೆಸರು ಬಂತು ಅಂತಾ ತುಂಬಾ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತಾಳೆ . ಇದು ನಾನು ಓದಿದ ಮೊದಲ ಕೃತಿ. ತುಂಬಾ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕ . ಸಮಯ ಸಿಕ್ಕಾಗ ಓದಿ.

The author describes a mythological event in very different way . The book is about how a common man Shiva become the legend, the god 'Mahadeva'. How he destroyed the evils,Civilization of Indus, Importance of river Saraswati, The war between Suryavamshi and Chandravamshi . It has characters like Sati,Nandi,Bhadra,Brahspati The novel has lots of suspense, mixed with war and love. The things evil and god are depends upon, how a person thinks. The book explains this concept nicely. Author ends the book in suspense making readers to wait for next volume of book .. When i finished reading this book, i cursed him for making me to wait for next release [The secrets of the Nagas] Do read the book when you get time. I bet you will find it hard to stop in between once you start reading. PS: These are only my views. Views may differ from person to person

         ಮೊನ್ನೆ ಶನಿವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ ನನ್ನ ಒಬ್ಬ ಗೆಳೆಯ, ಲೇ ಸೂಜಿ ತೊಗೋಬೇಕು ಬಾ ಅಂಗಡಿಗೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ ಅಂದಾ . ನನ್ನ ಜೋತೆ ಇದ್ದ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಲೋ ಸಂಜೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ಸೂಜೆ ಮಾರಲ್ಲ ಅಂದ .ಲೇ ನೋಡೋಣ ನಡಿಲೆ ಅಂತಾ ಒತ್ತಾಯ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನ ಕರ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದಾ. ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಹೊತ್ತಿನ ನಂತರ ಇಬ್ಬರು market ಇಂದ ತರಕಾರಿ, ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಗಜ್ಜರಿ ಏನೂ ತೊಗೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು, ಆದ್ರೆ ಸೂಜಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅಲ್ಲ ಅಂಗಡಿಯವನು ಇವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ .           ಇದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳ್ತಿರೋದು hi-tech city  ನಮ್ಮ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಲ್ಲಿ . ನನಗೆ ನಂಬೋಕೆ ಆಗ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಗಲು ಇದನ್ನ ಪಾಲಿಸ್ತಾರ?  ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಲ್ಲಿ ..??          ನಾವು ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಮುಂದುವರೆದರು ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಗಳನ್ನ ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದಿವಿ ...ಒಂದು ರೀತಿಲಿ ಇದು ಒಳ್ಳೇದು... ಚಿಕ್ಕವನಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅಮ್ಮನು ಅಂತಿದ್ಲು ಸಂಜೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ಸೂಜೆ, ಉಪ್ಪು ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಎನನ್ನು ಮನೆ ಇಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತೊಗೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬಾರದು ಅಂತಾ .  ನಮ್ಮ ಊರಿನ ಕಡೆ, ತುರ್ತಾಗಿ ಬೇಕಿರುವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರದಿದ್ರೆ ಪಕ್ಕದಮನೆಯವರ ಹತ್ರ ಎರವಲು [ನಾವು ಕಡ ಅಂತಾ ಅಂತಿವಿ ] ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು ರೂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಪಕ್ಕದಮನೆಯವರು ಯಾರಾದ್ರೂ ಸಂಜೆ ಸೂಜಿ ಬೇಕು ಅಂತಾ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅಮ್ಮ, ನಾವು ಸಂಜೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ಸೂಜಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಲ .. ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮುಂಚೆನೇ ಬರೋದಲ್ವ ಅಂತಾ ಅಂದ್ದಿದ್ದು ನನಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂನೆನಪಿ

           ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳಾಗಿಹೊಯ್ತು ... ಈಗಿನ ಹುಡುಗರಿಗೆ / ಹುಡುಗಿರಿಗೆ ಒಂಚೂರು ನಮ್ಮ ಆಚರಣೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆಸಕ್ತಿನೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂತ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಬೈಯೋದನ್ನಾ ಇ ಕಿವಿ ಇಂದ ಕೇಳಿ ಆ ಕಿವಿ ಇಂದ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿರ್ತಿವಿ.         ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ಇ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟತೆ, ಮಹತ್ವ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಆಚರಣೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಮಹತ್ವನೂ ಇದೆ .           ಇಂತಹ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಗಳನ್ನ ಕೇವಲ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳಂತೆ ನೋಡದೆ, ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಅವುಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವ ಇನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತದೆ          ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿರುವಷ್ಟು ವಿಷಯವನ್ನ ಇ ಲೇಖನಗಳ ಮೂಲಖ ಹಂಚುವ ಒಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ . ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅನಿಸಿಕೆಗಳು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಚಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ಸದಾ ಸ್ವಾಗತ :) ಮಕರ ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳು:          ಇ ಹಬ್ಬ ಚಳಿಗಾಲದ ಕೂನೆ ಭಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಬೇಸಿಗೆಯ ಆರಂಭವನ್ನ ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸೂರ್ಯ ತನ್ನ ಪತವನ್ನ ಮಕರ ರಾಶಿಗೆ ಬದಲಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.          ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿಯಂದು ಜನ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಎಳ್ಳುಬೆಲ್ಲ, ಕಬ್ಬು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇ ಎಳ್ಳು ಬೆಲ್ಲ, ಕಬ್ಬು ತಿನ್ನುವದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ತೇವಾಂಶ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಕೊರೆಯುವ ಚಳಿ ಇಂದ ಕಳೆದು ಹೊದ ತೇವಾಂಶವನ್ನುಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂತಾನೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಇ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯವನ್ನ ಆರಂಬಿಸಿದ್ದು ಅಂತಾ ಅನ್ನಸತ್ತೆ.          ಇನ್ನು ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಇದು ಸುಗ್ಗಿಯ ಕಾಲ. ಬೆಳೆದ ಬೆಳೆಯನ್ನ ರಾಶಿಮ

ಅಪ್ಪಾ ನಂಗೆ 10 ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಬೇಕು ... ಯಾಕೆ ಅಂತಾ ಕೇಳಿದ್ರು. ಆಗಿನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ತರಗತಿಲಿ ಓದ್ತಿದ್ದೆ . ನಾಳೆ ಹೊಸಾ ವರ್ಷ, Sir ಗೆ greetings card ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಡ್ತಿದಿವಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂತಾ ಅಂದೆ. ಆಯ್ತು ತೊಗೋ ಅಂತಾ ಜೇಬಿಂದ 10 ರೂಪಾಯಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಟ್ರು . ಏನು ಮಾಡ್ತೀರಿ ಅಂತಾ ಕೇಳಿದ್ರು .. ದಪ್ಪಾ ಪೇಪರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ sketch pen ಇಂದ "ಹೊಸಾ ವರ್ಷದ ಹಾರ್ದಿಕ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು 1995 " ಅಂತಾ ಬರೀತೀನಿ ಅಂದೆ.ಆಯ್ತು ದುಡ್ಡು ಜೋಪಾನ ಕಳ್ಕೊಬೇಡ, ಶಾಲೆ ಇಂದ ಬರ್ತಾ paper  ತೊಗೊಂಡ್ ಬಾ ಅಂದ್ರು  ಅದರ ಹಿಂದಿನ ದಿನ ಗೆಳೆಯರೆಲ್ಲ ಸೇರಿ greeting card ಕೊಡೋನಾ ಅಂತಾ ಯೋಚಿಸಿದ್ವಿ . ಸರಿ ಅಂತಾ ನಾನು ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಹೋದೆ. ತುಂಬಾ ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಗೆಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ, ಲೇ ನೋಡು ಅಪ್ಪ 10 ಕೊಟ್ರು ಅಂತಾ ತೋರ್ಸಿ,ನೀನು ಏನ್ ಬರಿತಿಯ, ಹೆಂಗೆ ಬರಿತಿಯ, ಯಾವ ಯಾವ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಪೆನ್ use ಮಾಡ್ತಿಯಾ, ಅದು ಇದು ಅಂತಾ  ಕೇಳಿ ಸಂಜೆ ವಾಪಸ್ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬರುವಾಗ paper ಮತ್ತೆ sketch pen ತೊಗೊಂಡು ಹೋದೆ. ಊಟಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆನೇ ನನಗೆ ತೋಚಿದ ರೀತಿಲಿ ಶುಭಾಶಯ ಸಂದೇಶ ಬರೆದು ಬಣ್ಣ ತುಂಬಿದೆ.   ಮಲಗಬೇಕಿದ್ರೆ, ಬೇರೆ ಗೆಳೆಯರು ಯಾವತರಾ ಬರದಿರಬಹುದು ಅನ್ನೋ ಕುತೂಹಲ !!!! ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಶಾಲೆಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ card ಅನ್ನ ತೋರ್ಸಿ ಲೇ ನೋಡು ನಾನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬರದಿದಿನಿ ಅಂತಾ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು. ಒಬ್ಬರೆ ಹೋಗಿ sir ಗೆ card ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಶುಭಾಶ
