  Photo courtesy: Internet Edited by Me .          ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಯಾರಿಗೆ ತಾನೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲಾ ? ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಏನು ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲದವರು ಸಹ ಪಂದ್ಯ ನಡಿತಿದ್ರೆ ಸ್ಕೋರ್ ಎಷ್ಟು? ಅಂತಾ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಸಲ ಕೇಳಿರ್ತಾರೆ ಅಲ್ವಾ?          ಇನ್ನೂ ಭಾರತ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ನಡುವೆ ಎಂದರು ಪಂದ್ಯ ಇದ್ರೆ ಅದರ ಮಾತೆ ಬೇರೆ, ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಕಂಡ್ರೆ ಆಗಲ್ಲ ಅನ್ನೋರು ಸಹ ಉತ್ಸುಕರಾಗಿರ್ತಾರೆ.          ಚಿಕ್ಕಂದಿನಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ .ಚಿಕ್ಕಂದಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಮಯ ಕಳೆದದ್ದು ನನ್ನ ಅಜ್ಜನ ಮನೇಲಿ. 1983 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ವರ್ಲ್ಡ್ ಕಪ್ ನ ಫೈನಲ್ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅಜ್ಜ ಟಿವಿ ತೊಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಂತೆ. ನನ್ನ ಮಾವ ದಿನಾಲೂ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಆಡೋಕೆ ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗ್ತಿದ್ರು. ಆಮೇಲೆ ಒಂದು tournament ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಲ್ ಬಡಿದು ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಗಾಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ,ಅಜ್ಜಿ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಂಗಳಾರತಿ ಮಾಡಿದಮೇಲೆ ಅವರ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಆಡೋ ಹುಚ್ಚು ಕಮ್ಮಿ ಆಯ್ತು.          ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಲಿ ಆಟದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ ಏನಾದ್ರು ಇದ್ರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಾವು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದ ಆಟ ಆಡ್ತಾ ಇದ್ವಿ. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಸರ್ "ನಿಮಗೇನು ಬೇಕು ಆಡಕೊಳ್ರಿ" ...

photo courtesy: Internet             2008 ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್, ನಾನು ಕೆಲ್ಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಆಗಿತ್ತು .  ನಾನು ಅವಳನ್ನ ಮೊದಲಸಲ ನೋಡಿದ್ದು internet ನಲ್ಲಿ ... ನನಗೆ ಯಾಕೋ ಏನೋ ತುಂಬಾ ಹಿಡ್ಸಿದ್ಲು. ಅವಳ ಆ ಮುದ್ದು ಮುಖ, ತಿಕ್ಷ್ಣ ಕಣ್ಣು, ಆ ನಾಜುಕತೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಏನೇನೊ...ಆಮೇಲೆ ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಯೋಚಿಸಿದೆ . ಇದೆಲ್ಲ ಈಗ ಬೇಕಾ? ಇನ್ನೂ ಈಗ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಆಯ್ತು ಕೆಲ್ಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿ. ಒಂದು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆಲೇನು ಕಂಡಕೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲಾ, ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಳಸಿದ್ದಾದ್ರು ಎಷ್ಟು ?.         ನನ್ನ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೂಂ ಮೇಟ್ಸ್ ಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಷಯ ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಸಹಜವಾಗಿಯೇ ಖುಷಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ರು 'You carry on buddy'  ಅಂತಾ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಬೇರೆ ಸಿಕ್ತು. ಏನೋ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವಳನ್ನ ಪಡದದ್ದು ಆಯ್ತು...         ದೀಪಾವಳಿಗೆ ಅವಳನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ  ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದೆ. ಅನ್ನುಕೊಂಡಹಾಗೆ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮ್ಮ ಬೇಜಾರದ್ರೆ, ಅಪ್ಪ, ಈಗ ಇದೆಲ್ಲ ಬೇಕಿತ್ತಾ ನಿನಗೆ ಅಂತಾ ಬೈದ್ರು?? .. ಆದ್ರೆ ನನ್ನ ತಂಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾತ್ರ ಫುಲ್ ಖುಶ್...!!!!. ಅದು ಇದು ಅಂತಾ ಏನೇನೊ ಹೇಳಿ ಅಪ್ಪ ಅಮ್ಮನ್ನ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಪಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಆಮೇಲೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ normal ..     ...

                     ಹುಟ್ಟು ಸಾವು  ಒಂದೇ ನಾಣ್ಯದ ಎರಡು ಮುಖಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ . ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಪ್ರತೀ ಜೀವಿಯೂ ಸಾಯಲೇಬೇಕು. ಅದು ಪಕೃತಿ ನಿಯಮ. ಒಂದು ಹುಟ್ಟು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ, ಸಂತೋಷ , ಒಂದು ಹೊಸ ಬದುಕಿನ ಆಸೆ ಮೂಡಿಸಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರ ತದ್ವೀರುದ್ದದ ಅಥವಾ ಇದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ತುಸು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನದೇ ಆದ ಒಂದು ಶೋಕ,ದುಖ: ಒಂದು ಜೀವ ತೀರಿದಾಗ!!!             ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಸಿರಿವಂತನಾದರು ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸೇರುವದು ಮಣ್ಣನ್ನೇ ಅನ್ನೋ ನುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೇಳಿರುತ್ತಿವಿ.ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರೆದೇ ಆದ ಕೆಲವು ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ರೀಯಗೆ ಇದ್ದೆ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ. ಕೆಲವೊಂದನ್ನು  ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರೆಂದು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿದರೆ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅವಶ್ಯಕವಾಗಿರುವಂತಹವು.           ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿಂದೂ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ವಿಧದ ಅಂತ್ಯಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಗಳು ರೂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿವೆ. ಒಂದು "ಅಗ್ನಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶ" ಇನ್ನೊಂದು "ಮಣ್ಣು ಮಾಡುವದು". ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ನಂತರ ಸ್ನಾನ,ವಿವಿಧ ಪೂಜೆಗಳು, ಹೀಗೆ ನಾನಾ ತರಹದ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳು ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.      ...

         ಮೊನ್ನೆ ಶನಿವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ ನನ್ನ ಒಬ್ಬ ಗೆಳೆಯ, ಲೇ ಸೂಜಿ ತೊಗೋಬೇಕು ಬಾ ಅಂಗಡಿಗೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ ಅಂದಾ . ನನ್ನ ಜೋತೆ ಇದ್ದ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಲೋ ಸಂಜೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ಸೂಜೆ ಮಾರಲ್ಲ ಅಂದ .ಲೇ ನೋಡೋಣ ನಡಿಲೆ ಅಂತಾ ಒತ್ತಾಯ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನ ಕರ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದಾ. ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಹೊತ್ತಿನ ನಂತರ ಇಬ್ಬರು market ಇಂದ ತರಕಾರಿ, ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಗಜ್ಜರಿ ಏನೂ ತೊಗೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು, ಆದ್ರೆ ಸೂಜಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅಲ್ಲ ಅಂಗಡಿಯವನು ಇವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ .           ಇದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳ್ತಿರೋದು hi-tech city  ನಮ್ಮ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಲ್ಲಿ . ನನಗೆ ನಂಬೋಕೆ ಆಗ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಗಲು ಇದನ್ನ ಪಾಲಿಸ್ತಾರ?  ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಲ್ಲಿ ..??          ನಾವು ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಮುಂದುವರೆದರು ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಗಳನ್ನ ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದಿವಿ ...ಒಂದು ರೀತಿಲಿ ಇದು ಒಳ್ಳೇದು... ಚಿಕ್ಕವನಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅಮ್ಮನು ಅಂತಿದ್ಲು ಸಂಜೆ ಹೊತ್ತು ಸೂಜೆ, ಉಪ್ಪು ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಎನನ್ನು ಮನೆ ಇಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತೊಗೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬಾರದು ಅಂತಾ .  ನಮ್ಮ ಊರಿನ ಕಡೆ, ತುರ್ತಾಗಿ ಬೇಕಿರುವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರದಿದ್ರೆ ಪಕ್ಕದಮನೆಯವರ ಹತ್ರ ಎರವಲು [ನಾವು ಕಡ ಅಂತಾ ಅಂತಿವಿ ] ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು ರೂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಕ...

           ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳಾಗಿಹೊಯ್ತು ... ಈಗಿನ ಹುಡುಗರಿಗೆ / ಹುಡುಗಿರಿಗೆ ಒಂಚೂರು ನಮ್ಮ ಆಚರಣೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆಸಕ್ತಿನೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂತ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಬೈಯೋದನ್ನಾ ಇ ಕಿವಿ ಇಂದ ಕೇಳಿ ಆ ಕಿವಿ ಇಂದ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿರ್ತಿವಿ.         ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ಇ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟತೆ, ಮಹತ್ವ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಆಚರಣೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಮಹತ್ವನೂ ಇದೆ .           ಇಂತಹ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಗಳನ್ನ ಕೇವಲ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳಂತೆ ನೋಡದೆ, ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಅವುಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವ ಇನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತದೆ          ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿರುವಷ್ಟು ವಿಷಯವನ್ನ ಇ ಲೇಖನಗಳ ಮೂಲಖ ಹಂಚುವ ಒಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ . ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅನಿಸಿಕೆಗಳು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಚಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ಸದಾ ಸ್ವಾಗತ :) ಮಕರ ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳು:          ಇ ಹಬ್ಬ ಚಳಿಗಾಲದ ಕೂನೆ ಭಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಬೇಸಿಗೆಯ ಆರಂಭವನ್ನ ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸೂರ್ಯ ತನ್ನ ಪತವನ್ನ ಮಕರ ರಾಶಿಗೆ ಬದಲಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.          ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿಯಂದು ಜನ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಎಳ್ಳುಬೆಲ್ಲ, ಕಬ್ಬು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರ...

ಜೀವನ ಒಂದು ಹೋರಾಟ.ಜೀವನದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಂದಲ್ಲ ಒಂದು ರೀತಿಯ ಹೊಂದಾಣಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ . ಬೆಚ್ಚಗೆ ತಾಯಿಯ ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಮಗು ಜನಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅಳುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರಿಸರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ . ಮೊದಲ ದಿನ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಹೋದ ಮಗು ಏನನ್ನೋ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡವರ ಹಾಗೆ ವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ . ಕಾಲ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ರೂಡಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಿಡುತ್ತದೆ . ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಟೈಮ್ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಾಮಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ಮೊದಲ period ಬಂಕ್ ಮಾಡಿ , ತಿಂಡಿ ತಿಂದು ಎರಡನೇ period ಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಹುಡುಗ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದಾಗ ಬದಲಾಗಿರ್ತಾನೆ ಅಥವಾ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿರತ್ತೆ . Cab ಪಿಕ್ ಅಪ್ ಟೈಮ್ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 7 ಘಂಟೆ ಎಂದರೆ 6 ಘಂಟೆಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ರೆಡಿ ಆಗ್ತಾನೆ . ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳೋದಾದರೆ ಅವನು ಹೊಸ ಟೈಮ್ ಗೆ ಅಡ್ಜಸ್ಟ್ ಆಗಿಬಿಡ್ತಾನೆ . ಹುಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ , ಅಮ್ಮ ಅಪ್ಪ ನ ಆರೈಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆದ ಮುದ್ದಿನ ಮಗಳು , ತಮ್ಮನ ಅಕ್ಕರೆ , ಅಣ್ಣನ ವಾತ್ಸಲ್ಯ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮದುವೆಯ ನಂತರ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಿದೆಯಲ್ಲ ಅದು ತುಂಬ ಕಷ್ಟ .... ಇದೆ ತರಹ ನಾವು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್ಟೊಂದು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿರುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಇ...

Some times back I got an e-mail the summary of the e-mail is as follows- A disciple of budha approached him and said humbly “ master you are so much concerned about the world and others, why don’t you look into the welfare and needs of your disciples also?” Budha : Asked him, tel me what you want? Disciple was very happy and went to his room with new attire… After some time budha went to disciples place and asked him , “are you comfortable with new attire? Do you want something? I heard this fact by my friend Deepak when we were studying BE. Next day when I got some free time I googled to get more information about the Taj Mahal. Now a day’s social networking is growing like any thing. From these networks we can be in touch with our friends. We can find our old friends. Sending and reading scraps is my usual task when I login to orkut. One day I was checking my communities and I was scared. One community was added to my community list without my knowledge, suddenly I deleted that community (unjoin) from my community list. Suddenly hacking, fishing come to my mind. I changed my password. But I did not get any information about whom I should complaint regarding this. So it’s better to keep tracking your friends list and community list.

The common word from just outputted unemployed student is "Do u have any references for job." Reference is required to get an opportunity for interview. But its wrong that, if you any reference you will definitely get placed in that company. Placement is purely depends on your abilities. To archive something great one should be dedicated towards the work and should work hard. It is very true for those who don’t have any god fathers. If u have any god father then also without hard work and dedication nothing can be achieved. We have lots of examples. Some cricketers have failed to mark significantly even though there father achieved a lot in his cricket career. Also we have examples of those great cricketers who achieved a lot without any godfathers. We can get these types of examples not only in cricket but also in many fields like Business, Entertainment, etc. I am not telling if you have godfather you won't achieve.
