Many of us don't know that we can fill our IT [income tax] returns online. By this we can save time and money. Below are the steps to fill online returns. Log on to https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/index.do Register your self with your PAN number  Enter your PAN number and click to proceed to next step for registration. You will get one confirmation e-mail. After confirming you will be able to login. User ID will be ur PAN no:  Go to downloads and select Assement Year to download appropriate form. Download the appropriate form (it will be .xls in format) Fill the form using your form-16. Evaluate the form and click “Generate” button in form to generate the .xml file. Evaluate xml file. Go to Submit return and select the assessment year. You can sign your form digitally. Click next. Select the generated xml file and click Upload. You will get the return form to your e-mail.   Photo courtesy: Internet Edited by Me .          ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಯಾರಿಗೆ ತಾನೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲಾ ? ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಏನು ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲದವರು ಸಹ ಪಂದ್ಯ ನಡಿತಿದ್ರೆ ಸ್ಕೋರ್ ಎಷ್ಟು? ಅಂತಾ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಸಲ ಕೇಳಿರ್ತಾರೆ ಅಲ್ವಾ?          ಇನ್ನೂ ಭಾರತ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ನಡುವೆ ಎಂದರು ಪಂದ್ಯ ಇದ್ರೆ ಅದರ ಮಾತೆ ಬೇರೆ, ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಕಂಡ್ರೆ ಆಗಲ್ಲ ಅನ್ನೋರು ಸಹ ಉತ್ಸುಕರಾಗಿರ್ತಾರೆ.          ಚಿಕ್ಕಂದಿನಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ .ಚಿಕ್ಕಂದಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಮಯ ಕಳೆದದ್ದು ನನ್ನ ಅಜ್ಜನ ಮನೇಲಿ. 1983 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ವರ್ಲ್ಡ್ ಕಪ್ ನ ಫೈನಲ್ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅಜ್ಜ ಟಿವಿ ತೊಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಂತೆ. ನನ್ನ ಮಾವ ದಿನಾಲೂ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಆಡೋಕೆ ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗ್ತಿದ್ರು. ಆಮೇಲೆ ಒಂದು tournament ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಲ್ ಬಡಿದು ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಗಾಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ,ಅಜ್ಜಿ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಂಗಳಾರತಿ ಮಾಡಿದಮೇಲೆ ಅವರ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಆಡೋ ಹುಚ್ಚು ಕಮ್ಮಿ ಆಯ್ತು.          ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಲಿ ಆಟದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ ಏನಾದ್ರು ಇದ್ರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಾವು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದ ಆಟ ಆಡ್ತಾ ಇದ್ವಿ. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಸರ್ "ನಿಮಗೇನು ಬೇಕು ಆಡಕೊಳ್ರಿ" ...

        We the group of 5-6 people are planing to visit valley of flower in August 2011. We have a rough outline of trip. Just we have travel plan of now. Not yet planned about the lodging and guide. If anybody had been to Valley of flowers please guide us. And is it good to go through any trip organizer ? Rough plan of the trip is as follows - Day 1: Leave to Delhi from Bangalore on 13th  August by morning flight Visit some places in Delhi Leave to Haridwar by night train. Day 2: Visit Haridwar and leave to Rishikesh by bus. Halt at rishikesh. Day 3 Leave to Joshimath by bus Halt at Joshimath . Day 4 Joshimath to Govind ghat , then trek to Gangria Halt at Gangria Day 5 Gangria to Valley of Flowers trek Back to Gangria and halt Day 6 Gangria to Hemkund and back to Gangria halt at Gangria Day7 Gangria to Govind ghat then to Joshimath halt at Joshimath Day 8 Joshimath to Rishikesh halt at Rishikesh Day 9 Rishikesh to D...

photo courtesy: Internet             2008 ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್, ನಾನು ಕೆಲ್ಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಆಗಿತ್ತು .  ನಾನು ಅವಳನ್ನ ಮೊದಲಸಲ ನೋಡಿದ್ದು internet ನಲ್ಲಿ ... ನನಗೆ ಯಾಕೋ ಏನೋ ತುಂಬಾ ಹಿಡ್ಸಿದ್ಲು. ಅವಳ ಆ ಮುದ್ದು ಮುಖ, ತಿಕ್ಷ್ಣ ಕಣ್ಣು, ಆ ನಾಜುಕತೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಏನೇನೊ...ಆಮೇಲೆ ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಯೋಚಿಸಿದೆ . ಇದೆಲ್ಲ ಈಗ ಬೇಕಾ? ಇನ್ನೂ ಈಗ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಆಯ್ತು ಕೆಲ್ಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿ. ಒಂದು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆಲೇನು ಕಂಡಕೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲಾ, ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಳಸಿದ್ದಾದ್ರು ಎಷ್ಟು ?.         ನನ್ನ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೂಂ ಮೇಟ್ಸ್ ಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಷಯ ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಸಹಜವಾಗಿಯೇ ಖುಷಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ರು 'You carry on buddy'  ಅಂತಾ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಬೇರೆ ಸಿಕ್ತು. ಏನೋ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವಳನ್ನ ಪಡದದ್ದು ಆಯ್ತು...         ದೀಪಾವಳಿಗೆ ಅವಳನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ  ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದೆ. ಅನ್ನುಕೊಂಡಹಾಗೆ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮ್ಮ ಬೇಜಾರದ್ರೆ, ಅಪ್ಪ, ಈಗ ಇದೆಲ್ಲ ಬೇಕಿತ್ತಾ ನಿನಗೆ ಅಂತಾ ಬೈದ್ರು?? .. ಆದ್ರೆ ನನ್ನ ತಂಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾತ್ರ ಫುಲ್ ಖುಶ್...!!!!. ಅದು ಇದು ಅಂತಾ ಏನೇನೊ ಹೇಳಿ ಅಪ್ಪ ಅಮ್ಮನ್ನ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಪಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಆಮೇಲೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ normal ..     ...

                                                                 ಲೇಖಕರು ಅನಂತನಾಗ .  [Nanna tamma Shankar]        ಶಂಕರನಾಗ ಕನ್ನಡನಾಡು ಕಂಡ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಪ್ರತೀಮ ಪ್ರತೀಭೆ.        ಶಂಕರನಾಗ್ ಎಂದಾಗ ತಟ್ಟ ಅಂತಾ ನೆನಪಾಗೋದು 'ಮಾಲ್ಗುಡಿ ಡೇಸ್'.ಕನ್ನಡದ ಅನೇಕ ಕಲಾವಿದರನ್ನು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಪರದೆಯಮೇಲೆ ತಂದ ಖ್ಯಾತಿ ಶಂಕರನಾಗ್ ಅವರದು. ಬರೀ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗಕ್ಕಷ್ಟೇ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಿರದೆ, ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಉಪಯೋಗವಾಗುಹಂತಹ ಅನೇಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ.ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವು ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ಇದರಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ . ನನಗೂ ಇ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಓದುವವರೆಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ.            ೧೯೮೦ರ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲೇನೆ metro ರೈಲಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವರ ಕನಸು, ಕಡಿಮೆ ಖರ್ಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ...

                     ಹುಟ್ಟು ಸಾವು  ಒಂದೇ ನಾಣ್ಯದ ಎರಡು ಮುಖಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ . ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಪ್ರತೀ ಜೀವಿಯೂ ಸಾಯಲೇಬೇಕು. ಅದು ಪಕೃತಿ ನಿಯಮ. ಒಂದು ಹುಟ್ಟು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ, ಸಂತೋಷ , ಒಂದು ಹೊಸ ಬದುಕಿನ ಆಸೆ ಮೂಡಿಸಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರ ತದ್ವೀರುದ್ದದ ಅಥವಾ ಇದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ತುಸು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನದೇ ಆದ ಒಂದು ಶೋಕ,ದುಖ: ಒಂದು ಜೀವ ತೀರಿದಾಗ!!!             ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಸಿರಿವಂತನಾದರು ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸೇರುವದು ಮಣ್ಣನ್ನೇ ಅನ್ನೋ ನುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೇಳಿರುತ್ತಿವಿ.ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರೆದೇ ಆದ ಕೆಲವು ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ರೀಯಗೆ ಇದ್ದೆ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ. ಕೆಲವೊಂದನ್ನು  ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರೆಂದು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿದರೆ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅವಶ್ಯಕವಾಗಿರುವಂತಹವು.           ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿಂದೂ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ವಿಧದ ಅಂತ್ಯಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಗಳು ರೂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿವೆ. ಒಂದು "ಅಗ್ನಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶ" ಇನ್ನೊಂದು "ಮಣ್ಣು ಮಾಡುವದು". ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ನಂತರ ಸ್ನಾನ,ವಿವಿಧ ಪೂಜೆಗಳು, ಹೀಗೆ ನಾನಾ ತರಹದ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳು ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.      ...
